WEEKLY BUSINESS
Comment Follow Up: Thank you for sharing the good you saw in yourself this
week...I know it lifted my heart and I hope it helped lift yours. You're going to need strong cheerful hearts
as we head into the final stretch of pre-registration...because:
There are ONLY 28 DAYS left of pre-registration!!! We've reached about 18% of our registration goal, but there's still more to do!!! and now it's time to get those brochures out and start registering the groups we've been helping to cultivate. You're awesome and you do awesome things! Keep doing them!

WEEKLY FOCUS
BROCHURES EVERYWHERE!
Have you had fun sharing your brochures? Do you still have some left? We mailed several thousand brochures to all of our customers in your area this week, and so it's time to follow-up and make sure everyone knows they can come to YOU for questions or to get in a group. Brochures might seem obsolete in this wild world of SOCIAL MEDIA...but don't let progress fool you into thinking we don't need to hand out brochures! The life span of a brochure is a lasting reminder of TOFW. Think about this: You give it to a friend (1 look) and she puts in her bag. It comes out of the bag (2 looks!). It goes on the counter (3,4,5 looks unless she's much more organized than me). Facebook posts get buried so quickly, but your brochure lasts forever (or at least until you buy your tickets and then recycle it :))Maybe this is also a good time for a refresher on where and when and how you CAN (and can't) distribute your brochures so that you're meeting the guidelines. There's been a little confusion about this, so please read this part carefully.
YOU CAN SHARE YOUR BROCHURES AT CHURCH
Bring them to church with you and as you see friends, hand them out! Be sure to let them know what TOFW is, where and when it is and that you are proudly on the TOFW team!
The guidelines do say that we can't use church resources to mass distribute our information. We want to avoid making it look like TOFW is a church sponsored event. Specifically that means YOU CAN'T do the following:
- Leave them on a table for people to pick up with no explanation of what TOFW is.
- Stand at a door and give one to everyone that enters a room.
- Post one on the bulletin boards in the church halls.
- Put them on cars in church parking lots.

SHARE CHALLENGE
BROCHURES: Please make an effort to follow-up with your friends & family to see if they received a brochure. Then ask them if they have a group to join yet...if not...you now know who to help. Let's make sure all of our brochures are distributed in the next week or so.

Here are a few easy, fun ideas for distributing your brochures:
- Give a friend some brochures and have her help you by giving them to her friends
- If you know a local business with lots of LDS customers, ask the owner if you can post a brochure. Just make sure it is in a place where customers will recognize that it is primarily Mormon messages because it is presented by Deseret Book.
- Write a message on the back of the brochure telling your friend why they would enjoy TOFW. Give your name and phone number and deadline of when you are getting your group together so they can join you.
- Make sure to point out the tear out cards, so the person receiving the brochure can form a GROUP.
- GET CREATIVE and share your ideas on the team FACEBOOK page!
TOFW EMAIL: Earlier this month we sent an email to all of our Deseret Book customers in the area reminding them that Time Out for Women pre-registration is in full swing! Please share the email with everyone just in case they didn't get it from us.

0 left. I gave a few away at the Regional YW Conference a couple of weeks ago, and then mailed out the remainder that I had to women that I know in wards other than my own. Using the brochures is a very easy way to spread the word.

I have 10 left. I know we wanted to hand them all out, but I wanted to save some for when we got closer for those whom are new in our ward or for what ever event I might go to between now and then.

I have about 10. I am going to a different ward in a couple weeks to help get the word out. :)
This is Jen Campos by the way, who just said 10
I have 3 or 4 left. I gave most of mine out after our last Linger Longer at church.

I do not have any left. I gave all mine out as quickly as possible. Now I am just reminding people.
Still have a stack but have been away most of the summer. I plan to give them out this Sunday when I see all my friends at church.
